Food:

Students will be eating lunch during the 6th Grade research time. That is their only chance to eat until after our performance. After our performance the WCHS Band typically has snacks for sale. If you’re interested, bring a few dollars.

Uniform:

The Uniform for this event is black band polo’s, black dress pants or slacks (no jeans), black socks, and black shoes. Students will also be wearing our suit jackets for this performance. Students dressed incorrectly will not be permitted to perform or travel with us.

Grading:

As a band, all of our performances are important. This one requires us to perform for 4 judges, to determine the quality of our program. Some directors refer to it as the FCAT for Band. This performance will count as a significant portion of the Symphonic Band’s Rehearsal and Performance Grade.

Chaperones:

We are in need of 2-3 chaperones for the event. If you’re available, please contact me as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, please contact us immediately.
